Job Details

The Health and Civil Group at Leidos is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst with PEGA Business Architect (BA) certification, for a contract with a large federal agency, who will support applications development to deliver a cloud-based platform containing a portfolio of solutions/products capable of resolving issues across all lines of businesses about that federal organization. The Computer Systems Analyst will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications, and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle, resulting in a software product.

*This position is contingent upon Leidos being awarded a contract under which the work will be performed.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as Business Architect and developer of PEGA applications, performing computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks in a software release life cycle and resulting software products on a PEGA platform
  • Experience with PEGA Application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other PEGA OOTB tools
  • Perform business system solution development using PEGA software
  • Conduct application development tasks including requirements analysis, formal verification, and formal validation
  • Produce technical documentation in support of PEGA engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, and thorough implementation instructions
  • Maintain standards compliance
  • Develop, update, and maintain program of record documentation
  • Monitor the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Communicate with internal and client project team members

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be a Certified PEGA Business Architect (BA)
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 1 - 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1+ years supporting PEGA applications
  • Ability to multitask, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
  • MUST hold an active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on projects in an IRS/Treasury environment
  • Experience in Cloud operations such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure
