Who we're looking for
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is looking for a Lead Engineer to support our Technology Operations Center (TOC) Platforms, with a strong focus on the DigitalCare (ServiceNow) platform. We're seeking a ServiceNow expert who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, mentor and inspire peers, and integrate systems with scalability and security in mind.
This role will support our goal to expand ServiceNow capabilities, increase engagement, and creatively implement new features. You'll be encouraged to identify problems, develop solutions, and bring ideas to life through proofs of concept (POCs).

What you'll be doing
- Shape and guide the strategic direction of DigitalCare (ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with co-leads and Product Owners to design scalable integrations and workflows.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and architect aligned solutions.
- Design data models, schemas, and pipelines for integrating data to and from DigitalCare.
- Identify gaps, improvements, and opportunities in existing technical solutions.
- Improve SDLC and development practices by helping define and refine engineering best practices.
What you bring
- 5-7 years of ServiceNow development and integration experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing ITSM and Asset Management (HAM/SAM).
- Deep integration experience using REST, SOAP, WebHooks, Pub/Sub (Kafka), API Gateways/Service Mesh, and other connectors.
- Active Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ability to obtain shortly after starting.
- Active Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ability to obtain shortly after starting.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Clear, concise, and collaborative communication style.
- Open to giving and receiving honest feedback.
Added bonus if you have
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
- Active Implementation Specialist certifications in areas such as ITSM, HAM, SAM, VR, EM, or Discovery.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 10 years of relevant experience.
