Role Summary:
We are in the market for a seasoned Senior Java Developer who will also undertake the role of Team Lead. The successful applicant will have a robust command of back-end Java programming as well as proficiency in contemporary front-end technologies, with a preference for those skilled in Angular or ReactJS. An integral part of this role includes spearheading the transition of legacy systems from a mainframe environment to a Java-based paradigm, while simultaneously managing and nurturing a development team. Superior communication prowess is a must to ensure seamless interactions with customers, internal stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate the full-spectrum shift from outdated mainframe architectures to cutting-edge Java and front-end (Angular/ReactJS) frameworks.
- Innovate, blueprint, code, and roll out robust Java applications that seamlessly integrate with front-end user interfaces.
- Steer a group of developers, providing them with both mentorship and technical direction, while promoting a culture of excellence and adherence to best practices.
- Engage with clients, analysts, and various stakeholders to capture requirements and transform them into executable technical plans.
- Present project updates, technical narratives, and sophisticated issues articulately to audiences of various technical competencies.
- Manage daily operational challenges and effectively handle requests for changes in current in-production systems.
- Carry out code reviews with a firm commitment to coding standards and delivery of quality outputs.
- Administer project activities, schedules, and expected outputs, hence assuring the successful conclusion of projects.
- Document the methodologies for system migrations, technical implementations, and enhancements in the process for reference and future use.

Competencies and Experience Required:
- A deep-seated expertise in Java development, encapsulating aspects such as Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Command over front-end technologies with a focus on Angular or ReactJS frameworks.
- A proven track record in orchestrating the transitional migration of systems from mainframe platforms to Java settings.
- Exceptional aptitude for leadership, teamwork dynamics, and building interpersonal connections.
- Superior ability to communicate complex technical notions in written and spoken forms, catering to a spectrum of audiences.
- A history of successfully tackling production predicaments with clients and in-house teams, alongside overseeing a dynamic array of change directives.
- A thorough familiarity with Agile principles and usage of various project management tools and applications.
