Job Details

Join our team as a Systems Engineer, where you'll drive innovation in infrastructure operations and enhance customer impact through automation and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement server monitoring and management solutions utilizing automation and self-repair techniques.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, focusing on root cause identification and long-term solutions.
  • Develop operational processes that improve workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Adopt and implement best practices in documentation, testing, and security for scalable operations.
  • Create metrics to measure and demonstrate improvements in operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with Oracle PeopleSoft infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in automation using Perl/Python and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of standard internet protocols such as Ethernet, ARP, IP, and more.
  • Expertise in building SQL queries and security best practices in server configuration.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, or Java.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like git, mercurial, or svn.
  • Experience with AWS technologies and managing large-scale, geographically diverse server environments.
  • Understanding of enterprise switching and routing platforms and large-scale disk subsystems.

This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
