The Pharmaceutical Enterprise Architect plays a pivotal role in aligning an organization s business objectives with its IT strategy, processes, and infrastructure. They serve as a bridge between technical and business aspects, guiding decision-making at the highest levels. Their primary duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and Implementing Strategic IT Roadmap:
    • Create a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the organization s business objectives.
    • Ensure that technology initiatives support the overall business strategy.
  2. Designing and Analyzing Enterprise Architecture:
    • Define and analyze the enterprise architecture, including business, information, data, application, and technology components.
    • Ensure coherence and alignment across these architectural domains.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the architecture meets business needs and IT requirements.
    • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business leaders.
  4. Identifying Areas of Improvement:
    • Evaluate the current IT environment and identify areas for enhancement.
    • Propose and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers and technical directors to achieve project objectives within defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  6. Keeping Abreast of Emerging Technologies:
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and techniques.
    • Assess their relevance to the organization s business objectives.
  7. Architecture Documentation and Artifacts:

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of technology architecture trends.
  • Familiarity with business planning, governance, and risk management.
  • Preferred hands-on experience of 10-15 years
  • Work Location is New York-New Jersey Area.
  • Will have to work from office thrice a week.
