Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level and detailed project plans and budgets for data center initiatives and components.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute assigned tasks and resources efficiently.
- Adapt existing best practices for project and operational management to align with project needs.
- Communicate project status effectively to IT teams and departments.
- Coordinate project activities among internal teams, external resources, engineering design teams, and contractors.
- Engage with internal sourcing and legal teams to negotiate lease terms.
- Oversee and execute the RFP process for securing vendors to support new projects.
- Directly manage or collaborate with general contractors for the construction of new sites, including vendor management.
- Ensure the development and timely completion of all IT-related deliverables.
- Maintain and update the project SharePoint site for documentation and information, modifying its design and functionality as needed.
- Require regular local travel to office and data center locations, with an on-site presence for most of the project duration.
- May involve occasional out-of-area travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Data Center Technology and Service Management.
- Working background in Structured Cabling Systems
- Understanding of Data Center best practices
- Logistics
