Job Details

Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Florida - Only Locals
Duration: Long Term
Experience: 10+ Years
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, and modern data platforms, and will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture aligned with business and technical requirements

  • Develop logical and physical data models for transactional, analytical, and reporting systems

  • Define standards and best practices for data integration, storage, and governance

  • Architect and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines

  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and quality

  • Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions

  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

  • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, tools, and frameworks

  • Support performance tuning, scalability, and reliability of data platforms

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering roles

  • Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)

  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases

    • Examples: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

  • Experience designing and supporting data warehouses and data lakes

  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools

  • Proficiency in SQL and data performance optimization

  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and security

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
