Job Title -Data Governance Analyst Analyst
Work Mode- Euless, TX (Onsite)
Work Time - 8 AM - 5 PM CST
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to drive client's enterprise data governance and quality initiatives. This role partners with data stewards and technology teams to establish, monitor, and optimize enterprise-wide data quality frameworks and standards that enable high-quality, reliable data across business domains. Must have strong experience in Informatica Data Quality, root cause analysis, KPI reporting, and cross-domain data governance.
Required Experience (5+ years):
- Experience in enterprise data management and cross-functional data quality programs, including oversight of Critical Data Elements across multiple business domains.
- Experience leading data governance frameworks and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and ability to operationalize them at scale.
- Experience applying knowledge of scripting and analytical tools to establish and maintain data quality rules.
- Experience developing data quality frameworks, metrics, and dashboards.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis, remediation planning, and KPI reporting.
- Experience with Informatica Data Quality, Snowflake, and Tableau.
- Experience demonstrating strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills, including the ability to convey complex data quality concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team to drive data quality initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data quality frameworks, standards, controls, and metrics for monitoring Critical Data Elements.
- Develops and maintains data quality dashboards to identify and address data quality gaps and issues
- Supports management of the end-to-end data quality issue lifecycle, including triage, root cause analysis, remediation planning, and executive-level status reporting
- Designs and governs data quality rules within Informatica Data Quality and other tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance objectives.
- Conducts and facilitates root cause analyses on cross-domain data quality issues, recommending enterprise-level remediation strategies.
- Drives remediation initiatives in collaboration with business units, technology teams, and data stewards to ensure timely and sustainable resolutions.
- Advises and partners with data stewards and governance councils to enforce enterprise data quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Participates in data quality working groups, contributing to standards, success metrics, and tracking of remediation plans.
- Maintains and updates enterprise data policies, procedures, and playbooks, embedding best practices into operational processes.
- Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess adherence to data quality standards and progress toward enterprise data goals.
- Other related duties as assigned
Required Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Certification and Education:
- Master’s Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Data Science, Analytics, or Computer Science
- Certification in data management, data quality, or data governance (e.g., CDMP, IQCP, DGSP).
