Trident Consulting is looking for a "DevOps Application Consultant @ Chicago, IL (Onsite) for one of our clients.

Job Title: DevOps Application Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Application Consultant with a strong background in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of proven expertise in DevOps practices, containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong consulting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless code integration and delivery.
  • Build, automate, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Deploy, scale, and manage applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Work with AWS cloud services to architect and optimize cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery processes.
  • Provide consulting and best practices for DevOps adoption and transformation.
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Proven knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Helm.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and consulting skills.
