Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects supporting regulatory reporting programs for Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) function of Market Risk team. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Analyze business performance to drive business planning, plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Lead finance and RWA initiatives, and represent Market Risk team in face-to-face meeting with Financial Capital Planning group. Analyze RWA components of market risk, including de-minimis risk, standard specific market risk and trading book securitization, to understand changes and analytics required to be implemented for reporting. Leverage expertise in Basel and local regulatory requirements, including rules under Prudential Regulatory Authority and Monetary Authority of Singapore, to conduct requirement elicitation session with finance and risk stakeholders and to coordinate with development team for implementation of these requirements. Keep an inventory of new project requests under assigned asset class, and engage business and finance capital planning stakeholders for new project initiatives discussion. Plan, coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Use JIRA tool for requirement elicitation and UAT approval and implementation. Obtain approvals on requirements documents, test plans and test results from business owners and stakeholders. Use analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and Structured Query Language (SQL), to reconciliate UAT and production data and explain differences, and work with upstream and downstream technology teams to resolve unexplained variations. Evaluate new information technology developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, Engineering (any) or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, Project Manager, or related position managing capital markets/Risk Weighted Asset projects for the financial services industry. 6 years of experience must include: Financial Risk management (Market and Credit Risk); IT Project Management; Business Analytics; Data analysis; Basel and Geo specific regulatory requirements; Understanding of Capital Markets Regulatory Landscape and Most recent Regulations (FRTB); Software development methodologies: Agile and Scrum; Project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft PowerPoint; and Data analysis reporting tools: Microsoft Excel.
