RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II in Seattle, WA.
Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer II to join our team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining a technical documentation site built on Harmony.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain a technical documentation site using Harmony
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the site meets user needs
* Implement and integrate AI/LLM features to enhance the documentation experience
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
* Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
* Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 2-5 years of experience in software development
* Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Experience with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
* The ideal candidate will have experience with web development, technical documentation, and a strong understanding of AI/LLM technologies
* Experience with version control systems like Git
* Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
