Title: Senior Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

Contract Length: 09 months +

 

Important mote: Considering only those candidates who are in Washington DC or live very close to Washington, DC. Candidates who are even willing to relocate from the far away states wont be considered for this role.

  • Requires 4+ years of experience in network operations, maintenance, configuration, optimization, and upgrades across Windows servers, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Must have strong skills in monitoring LAN/WAN, telephony, and virtual systems, ensuring performance, capacity, and service availability.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve network incidents, maintain documentation, follow configuration standards, and adhere to change management processes.
  • Hands-on experience enforcing information security, compliance, auditing, disaster recovery, and encryption requirements.
  • Proficient in using enterprise tools including Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco FMC, Cisco DNA, Active Directory tools, Intune, Tanium, Cayo Soft, SSH/RDP, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VMware vCenter, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Active CCNP certification is required, with strong working knowledge of Active Directory, VMware, and Windows Server administration preferred.
