Description
We are looking for a skilled Field Network/Systems Engineer for onboarding and implementations of technical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical onboarding engagements, ensuring seamless implementation of services, and providing exceptional documentation to support client environments. This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical lead during onboarding processes, configuring environments to meet internal standards and client requirements.
Conduct thorough discovery sessions to evaluate infrastructure, document assets, and determine service needs.
Deploy and configure core managed services such as endpoint protection, monitoring tools, backup solutions, Microsoft 365, and other standard technologies.
Create comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, credential records, asset inventories, and user support guides.
Provide technical orientation to clients, explaining service scope, escalation processes, and support systems.
Identify risks or gaps within client environments during onboarding and escalate concerns to appropriate teams.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and account executives to align onboarding goals with client expectations.
Facilitate smooth handoffs to support teams, ensuring continuity and a clear understanding of client environments.
Contribute to the improvement of onboarding workflows, documentation practices, and operational templates.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in networking protocols, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Hands-on experience with Checkpoint and Cisco routers.
Knowledge of Cisco technologies and backup solutions.
Strong understanding of computer hardware and configuration management.
Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding processes and project planning.
Experience with implementation services and technical documentation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
