Position Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources using internal database.
This role will manage HR processes, lead the HR team, and serve as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR management, with hands-on experience in HRIS systems, in house software system and the ability to manage a wide range of HR functions in a growing, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the HR Generalist and provide guidance on daily HR operations.
    • Develop and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (California and Texas).
    • Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, promoting strong employee relations and resolving workplace issues.
  • HR Operations & Systems:
    • Manage employee records and HR data using internal software for accurate payroll processing, attendance, benefits administration, and reporting.
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes ensuring smooth candidate experience and compliance.
    • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and coaching programs.
    • Support compensation and benefits administration in partnership with leadership.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple states, including California and Texas-specific labor laws.
    • Lead investigations related to employee relations, workplace concerns, and disciplinary actions as needed.
    • Support audits and maintain required documentation for regulatory purposes.
  • Strategic HR Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with company growth and business goals.
    • Identify opportunities for organizational development, employee engagement, and talent retention.
    • Assist in workforce planning and succession planning efforts.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to senior leadership.
    • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in human resources, with at least up to 5 years in a managerial or supervisory HR role.
  • Proven expertise with HRIS software
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, especially California and Texas regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive employee information.
Preferred:
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
