JOB SUMMARY:

Business Operational Concepts (BOC) is currently seeking a seeking a Network Administrator to work with our federal client. The client is located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of VoIP systems, have the ability to enter into an enterprise level system and contribute in a meaningful way from the outset. We are seeking a team player who is able to work effortlessly with others to accomplish the customers goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design, staging, configuration, implementation, and support for VoIP installations.

* Perform troubleshooting of complex VoIP and IP telephony issues.

* Support existing infrastructure of Cisco Voice Adds, Moves, and Changes to Voice Gateways, CTI Agent, T1s, and Call Routing.

* Support the day-to-day VoIP related service requests, escalations, and troubleshooting.

* Modify and improve an existing UCCX scripts and develop and create new UCCX script.

* Design and configure dial plan with calling restrictions by using a combination of calling search spaces, partitions, translation patterns, dial-peers, translation rules and translation profiles.

* Configure and implement voice gateways (H323/MGoogle Cloud Platform/SIP), SRST for remote sites, CUCME and CUE distributed design.

* Maintain VoIP systems configuration backup and restore.

* Upgrade UC software and security patch.

* Work with security team for vulnerability and security compliance.

* Monitor incident activity to identify, investigate and avoid potential service escalations.

* Involvement with future IP telephony system upgrade and migration project.

* Create expert level solution documentation, user guides, schematics and standard operating procedures.

* Document and maintain VoIP infrastructure policies, procedures, and other documentation.



Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required (Minimum) Qualifications Education, Certification, Experience, and Skills

* Minimum of 2+ years of VoIP Networking/Engineering and/or Administration experience on an enterprise level.

* Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA)

* Good Problem solving, troubleshooting, analyzing and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to meet all deadlines set forth by the employer.

* Cisco Unified Communication Manager ver. 10.x and later.

* Cisco Unity Connection ver. 10.x and later.

* Cisco ISR VoIP gateway.

* SIP, SCCP and ISDN PRI protocols.

* Ability to Troubleshoot basic Cisco Phone registration issues.

* QoS.

Preferred Qualifications Education, Certification, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

* ITIL V3 or V4 foundations certification
