Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers as direct reports
  • Coordinate, direct, and oversee work performed by the team
  • Perform formal and informal mentoring and coaching to team members and new employees of all levels
  • Conduct team member project reviews
  • Manage team to utilization standards
• Manage all phases of the software development process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support
• Work cross-functionally, interfacing with internal and external customers to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate direction and progress
• Manage project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and project budgets
• Oversee creation of service estimations for development tasks
• Ensure development best practices are adhered to in the delivery process
• Participate in project quality assurance processes as appropriate
• Consult with leadership in the analysis of short- and long-range business requirements and strategy
• Identify and drive forward continuous improvement of our client development capabilities, including internal methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Deliver high levels of client satisfaction and leads team members to achieve the same

Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience managing software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of AL and ancillary technologies
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a desire to succeed
• Proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable software solutions of high quality
• Deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences including C-level management, public groups and/or boards of directors
• The ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Dynamics 365 CE
• Experience with the Power Platform
