Description: As a Senior Analog Electronics Engineer, you'll lead the design, development, and testing of high-performance analog systems across a wide range of applications. You'll work on precision analog front-ends, signal conditioning, A/D conversion, feedback systems, and power electronics. Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $120.00 USD Hourly
Description: As a Senior Analog Electronics Engineer, you'll lead the design, development, and testing of high-performance analog systems across a wide range of applications. You'll work on precision analog front-ends, signal conditioning, A/D conversion, feedback systems, and power electronics. This role requires deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement analog electronics systems for advanced applications.
- Develop and test components including amplifiers, LDOs, comparators, mixers, PLLs, and radiation-hardened designs.
- Optimize designs for low noise, high performance, and SWaP (size, weight, and power).
- Translate product requirements into technical specifications and hardware designs.
- Analyze system configurations and validate hardware against performance benchmarks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in analog electronics, contributing to advanced architectures and design strategies.
- Lead technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in analog design.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and customer engagement.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to drive project success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in analog circuit design.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Experience with SPICE or equivalent circuit simulation tools.
- Strong foundation in applied mathematics and physics.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Expertise in one or more of the following: low-noise electronics, analog-digital conversion, synchronous detection, signal processing, PLLs, high-speed amplifiers, discrete transistor-level design.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or similar modeling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts.
- Active security clearance.
