Position: Infrastructure Architect (Windows, Network) -Open Position-CA
Type: contract
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid-Once in a week)

Infrastructure Design & Innovation: Experience architecting and designing IT infrastructure for optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Project Management: Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage IT projects from conception to completion.
Technical Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and training junior technical staff.
Technical Expertise:
o Windows Server Administration (2012-2022)
o Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
o Red Hat Server Administration
o VMware vSphere
o Storage Technologies (SAN/NAS)
o Network Administration (Cisco, Palo Alto, A10, KEMP)
o Backup & Recovery Solutions (Veritas, Commvault)
o Security Hardening (Windows/Linux)
o Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, YAML)
o Virtualization
o Containerization/Kubernetes
o Cloud Technologies (Azure - a plus)
Certifications: MCSE preferred, Azure ASAE, TOGAF, IASA, CISSP, VMWare VCDX, VCP/CCNA a plus
Responsibilities
Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain complex on-premises IT infrastructure for internal and external clients.
Provide Level 2 & 3 support, escalating issues as needed.
Manage projects, including planning, design, and implementation of solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Manage and train junior technical staff.
Interface with vendors and clients to ensure service delivery.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Experience
5-9 years of prior IT experience in a senior-level role.
Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
