Cloud Senior Test Analyst Role

Description
Core Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and execute test cases for the Connexion portal and other CMS-hosted applications.
Validate application functionality in cloud environments with a focus on compliance and security.
Collaborate daily with Agile teams, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Use TestRail for test plan management, test execution tracking, and results documentation.
Log, manage, and track defects using Jira, and maintain all test documentation and user stories in Confluence.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and compliance testing aligned with CMS standards.
Ensure test coverage for updates, security patches, and performance enhancements before deployment.
Support process improvement by analyzing testing metrics and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in Agile testing methodologies and sprint-based development environments.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for test coordination and collaboration.
Experience testing applications hosted in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with Medicare systems or similar healthcare domain experience.
Hands-on experience with TestRail, HP ALM, or similar test management tools.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools, such as: Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman (for API testing).
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with GitHub Actions for version control, automation, and deployment workflows.
Knowledge of managing cloud-based analytics pipelines is a plus
