Job Title - Senior .Net Developer (.Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI))

Location: Austin Texas

Overall Experience : Minimum 14+ Years Must
This is 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote
  • Minimum 2-4 years = Candidates Must Possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, especially in Xamarin and .NET MAUI frameworks. ( Recent Experience ONLY )
  • Minimum 2-4 years = Candidates Must Have Strong Microsoft Xamarin to Microsoft .NET MAUI (Multi-platform App UI) Experience ( Recent Experience ONLY )
  • Minimum 2-4 years = Candidates Must Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices ( Recent Experience ONLY )
Project Details :
Migrate the TXMAP mobile application from the discontinued Microsoft Xamarin platform to the new Microsoft .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) framework.
The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI, enabling the Department s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning.
NOTE : Client is Expecting :-

  • Lead the migration of the existing TXMAP mobile application from Microsoft Xamarin to Microsoft .NET MAUI (Multi-platform App UI).

  • Ensure seamless transition of the current codebase, maintaining existing functionality across both iOS and Android platforms.

  • Possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, especially in Xamarin and .NET MAUI frameworks.

  • Maintain the performance, usability, and compatibility of the mobile application post-migration.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to handle code refactoring, testing, debugging, and deployment.

  • Address any compatibility issues that may arise during the framework transition.

  • Ensure that the TXMAP application continues to function without disruption after Xamarin is deprecated.


II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with the .Net platform
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices
  • Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA
  • Experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI)
