As a Junior Systems Engineer Intern, you will:

Responsibilities

Apply your knowledge as a Junior Systems Engineer to support specific technical tasks at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, West Bethesda, MD.
  • Configure and test computer assemblies including multi-disk RAID arrays and networks.
  • Execute Linux (CentOS or Red Hat) scripts to document system configurations and to update system software.
  • Install upgrades to system and system assemblies using installation and checkout procedures or engineering drawings.
  • Conduct performance verification and acceptance testing for systems during system development or upgrade.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experience in comuter science or engineering fields

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
