Job Title: Cloud Security Architect
Location: San Jose, CA
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust security standards and practices to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
- Develop and enforce data security policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes environments to ensure secure deployment and operation of microservices.
- Implement and manage security measures for Big Query or equivalent data platforms.
- Design and secure API gateways to protect data and services from unauthorized access and threats.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud security architecture and strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices.
- Extensive experience with data security and protection measures.
- Proficiency in managing and securing Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with Big Query or equivalent data platforms.
- Expertise in securing API gateways and managing API security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
