Job Title: Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (Local Candidates Only: NY/NJ/CT/PA)

Job Description: Our direct financial client in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Support Analyst with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Subledger Accounting (SLA). This is an exclusive opportunity to work in a high-impact, mission-critical financial systems environment. Only local candidates from NY, NJ, CT, or PA will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Financial modules (primarily GL and SLA) across North America and EMEA regions.
- Analyze, design, configure, and test enhancements to Oracle Financials to support evolving business processes.
- Participate in requirement gathering, documents configure setups including new chart of accounts (COA), AP/AR/SLA setups as per the requirements
- support users across AP, AR, FP&A and CFO team
- Participate in GL-related projects: configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, and end-user training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (infrastructure, database, security, operations) to deliver and support Oracle Financials capabilities.
- Provide day-to-day production support, including patching, custom reports, ad-hoc queries, and issue resolution.
- Identify and recommend best practices for optimizing Oracle Financials usage.
- Document system requirements, test plans, process flows, and swimlane diagrams using standardized documentation tools.
- Ensure all solutions comply with internal change management and security policies.
- Coordinate with development teams on user interfaces and both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support late-night production releases and weekend implementations as needed.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of Oracle Financials R12 (especially GL, SLA, FA)
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Ability to describe end-to-end business processes and cross-functional integrations
- Excellent analytical, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Familiarity with production support cycles and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP is a plus
- Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools is a plus
