Salesforce Technical Lead
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
Our client's Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to drive development across multiple Salesforce platforms. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep Salesforce expertise, capable of mentoring developers, guiding architectural decisions, and delivering scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead development efforts across Salesforce platforms, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, triggers, and workflows.
- Mentor and guide development team members, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with architects on proof-of-concepts, integrations, and design patterns.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
- Enhance DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.
- Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and third-party solutions to support business goals.
- Document and promote development patterns and practices across the COE.
- Support cross-system integrations and API interactions.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of technical experience, including full-stack Salesforce development.
- 2 3 years working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data models and security.
- Experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant).
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Copado, Gearset).
- Exposure to Salesforce managed packages and upgrade processes.
- Experience with MuleSoft or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote.
