We have a 12 month contract opportunity for a ServiceNow Platform Product Owner. This role is fully remote but must work CST business hours.
Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and technically proficient Product Owner to lead the administration and governance of the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for ensuring the platform's data integrity, security, and operational performance, while driving stakeholder engagement and platform best practices across the organization.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the vision and roadmap for ServiceNow platform administration, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT goals
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories, standards, and platform behaviors
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements and educate them on platform capabilities and governance
- Define and enforce platform administration standards to ensure data quality, security, and performance
- Collaborate with system administrators and technical teams to implement and maintain platform configurations
- Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support platform-related decisions
- Coordinate system integration and compatibility across the organization to support seamless data
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on platform security, reliability, and data governance
- Significant experience in ServiceNow from both business and technical perspectives
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and modeling principles
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

- Candidates must demonstrate strong business and technical skills in ServiceNow platform administration and stakeholder engagement
- This role is not limited to user management-it requires proactive leadership in defining and enforcing platform standards to ensure long-term platform health and stakeholder confidence
