Remote Agile Coach – Product Management Enablement
Location: Remote
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach with a strong background in Product Management coaching to guide Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional leaders in adopting Agile principles and product-centric ways of working. The ideal candidate is passionate about building product leadership maturity — helping PMs translate strategy into measurable outcomes, manage backlogs effectively, and foster empowered, customer-focused teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor Product Managers on Agile product delivery practices, roadmap prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Enable PMs to define clear product visions, OKRs, and measurable success metrics aligned with business goals.
- Guide PMs on backlog refinement, user story mapping, and effective sprint planning to improve flow and value delivery.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Scrum Masters, and Design Leads to foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Facilitate workshops and playbooks on topics like Product Discovery, Lean Prioritization, and Value Stream Optimization.
- Identify systemic impediments impacting product delivery and collaborate with leadership to resolve them.
- Promote Agile mindset and servant leadership across teams, helping shift from project to product-based delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by measuring and coaching on KPIs such as lead time, cycle time, and release predictability.
- Support quarterly planning and cross-team synchronization rituals to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Agile transformation, with at least 3+ years coaching Product Managers or Product Owners.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS) and product management lifecycle.
- Proven experience facilitating product vision, roadmap creation, and value-based prioritization.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills — able to coach senior PMs and executives.
- Certifications preferred: ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT, ICP-ATF, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Aha!, Miro, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics to drive improvement and accountability.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience coaching in enterprise or scaled Agile environments.
- Background in digital products, SaaS, or customer experience platforms.
- Ability to build trust and psychological safety while challenging teams constructively.
- Empathy for PMs balancing business, customer, and technology priorities.
