Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Cloud Marketing Strategy & Positioning Manager to join our Global Central Strategy team.
- You will drive strategic projects, lead the annual planning process, set OKRs, allocate budgets, and partner with senior leadership to shape and communicate the marketing vision for the upcoming year. A key part of this role will be developing market and product positioning strategies that clearly articulate the organization s value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic cloud marketing initiatives for senior executives, addressing emerging and high-priority business challenges in the cloud technology sector.
- Drive annual planning for the global marketing function, including OKR setting, top-level budget allocation, and strategic communications to leadership.
- Define, refine, and communicate cloud market positioning ensuring alignment with leadership vision, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Build and present cloud-focused strategic recommendations to senior executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud-driven initiatives, including AI, developer engagement, and emerging product areas.
- Manage and coach vendor resources to deliver positioning frameworks, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to validate positioning strategies and secure buy-in for execution in cloud marketing initiatives.
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of total professional experience with significant strategy consulting exposure.
- Experience at a Tier-1 consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or a Tier-2 firm (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture Strategy, EY, KPMG) or in an in-house strategy function at a top technology company.
- Proven track record in developing and executing cloud or technology positioning strategies for products, services, or brands.
- Ability to structure complex cloud market challenges, build strategic frameworks, and translate insights into actionable positioning and messaging.
- Strong executive communication skills (written, verbal, visual) with experience presenting cloud-focused positioning recommendations to C-level leaders.
Desired Requirements:
- Experience in the technology sector; familiarity with cloud computing ecosystems is a plus (but not mandatory).
- Exposure to go-to-market (GTM) strategy, messaging, and positioning in a cloud or enterprise technology context.
- Experience with annual planning, OKR frameworks, and competitive positioning analysis in cloud markets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with shifting priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
