Finance Architect – Oracle Applications

Location: Remote
Rate: $90/hr
Client: IBM / Atlanta Public Schools

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions supporting enterprise financial systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Applications, strong architecture and consulting skills, and the ability to work independently while engaging directly with business and technical stakeholders.

This role focuses on translating functional finance requirements into robust technical architectures that can operate across multiple platforms and integrate with various enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical architectures that meet complex financial and functional business requirements.

  • Create detailed technical design documents for Oracle Applications–based solutions.

  • Architect solutions capable of running across multiple platforms and integrating multiple software packages.

  • Work independently and directly with clients to gather requirements and provide consulting guidance.

  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for quality, performance, availability, scalability, and security.

  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams during implementation.

  • Support solution validation, optimization, and issue resolution during delivery.

  • Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience designing and implementing Oracle Applications–based financial solutions.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise finance systems and architecture principles.

  • Proven consulting and client-facing experience.

  • Ability to translate functional finance requirements into technical designs.

  • Strong understanding of system performance, security, and availability standards.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
