Job Description

The Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding developers, coordinating with vendors/SIs, and ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions across CRM/CDP, Loyalty, ESP, Consent Management, Customer Experience, Marketing and Customer Data Analytics, and AI/GenAI initiatives.

This key resource will serve as the bridge between architecture and execution, ensuring that designs are translated into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the technical implementation of CRM/CDP, Loyalty, ESP, Consent, and Analytics platforms.
  • Translate solution architecture and design documents into actionable technical tasks for development teams.
  • Review code, configuration, integration workflows, and data pipelines to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Development & Integration

  • Guide the development of APIs, microservices, and ETL/ELT pipelines (Snowflake and MarTech integrations).
  • Oversee configuration and customization of CRM, Loyalty, and ESP platforms.
  • Support development of customer portal and mobile app integrations (identity, loyalty, personalization).
  • Ensure seamless integration between retail systems, POS, marketing and analytics platforms.

Vendor & Team Coordination

  • Work closely with vendor technical teams and SI partners, reviewing deliverables and resolving issues.
  • Mentor internal developers and offshore teams to build technical capability.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point during delivery.

Operational Excellence

  • Support the setup of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and environment management.
  • Ensure monitoring, logging, and observability are embedded in delivered solutions.
  • Drive adherence to data security, compliance (GDPR/CCPA), and enterprise IT standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation.
  • Contribute to reusable frameworks, integration templates, and best practices.
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methods for relevance to MarTech delivery.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years in technical leadership roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in CRM/CDP, Loyalty, ESP, and Consent Management platforms.
  • Proven track record in data integration, API development, and Snowflake-based analytics solutions.
  • Experience leading global development teams and managing vendor deliverables.
  • Retail experience strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in integration technologies (REST APIs, GraphQL, middleware, ETL/ELT).
  • Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development (ex - Azure).
  • Solid knowledge of data privacy, security, and consent management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Certifications (preferred)

  • Loyalty Platforms.
  • Snowflake or equivalent data engineering certifications.
  • Azure or equivalent cloud platform certifications.
  • Privacy-related certifications are a plus.
  • Scrum/Agile certifications are a plus.
