We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 Project Operations Developer with a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform and general application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, ensuring seamless integration and optimal business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Dynamics 365 Project Operations Development:
  • Design, develop, customize, and extend Dynamics 365 Project Operations to meet complex business requirements, including project planning, resource management, time and expense tracking, proforma invoicing, and project accounting.
  • Configure and customize Project Operations modules, forms, views, workflows, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 Project Operations and other internal/external systems using various integration technologies (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs, Data Export Service).
  • Provide expertise in project lifecycle management within Dynamics 365.
  • Perform data migration, testing, and quality assurance for Dynamics 365 Project Operations implementations.

Power Platform Development:

  • Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to enhance and extend Dynamics 365 Project Operations functionalities.
  • Create automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights into project performance and financial data.
  • Leverage Dataverse for data storage, modeling, and management, ensuring data consistency and integrity across solutions.
  • Implement Power Pages (Portals) for external user interaction where applicable.
  • Utilize Power Virtual Agents (Copilot Studio) for intelligent automation and self-service capabilities.

General Application Development:

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using relevant programming languages for custom solutions and integrations.
  • Work with APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and integrated applications.
  • Adhere to best practices for application development, coding standards, and security.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a developer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps) for integration and deployment.
  • Knowledge of Common Data Model (CDM) and its application within the Power Platform.
  • Understanding of API development and integration principles.
