Qualifications/Skills Needed:
Required: Bachelors
Top 3 must-have hard skills stack-ranked by importance
Jest, CI/CD, Docker, SAM, Terraform
NodeJS or JavaScript
AWS, DynamoDB, Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Cloudformation, IAM, Connect, Lex, SSM, Parameter Store
Years of experience required: 5-7 years relevant experience overall. Need at least 3-4 years aws app dev experience.
Disqualifiers: missing minimum aws app dev experience
Additional qualities to look for: Healthcare would be a plus
Day to Day Responsibilities of Role:
Daily expectations are to attend all tag up and team meetings.
Mentor and help others where you can.
Backend development for Amazon Connect. Production support for Amazon Connect backend code.
This role is often best filled with a former team lead or a lead developer position.
Product owner/manager skills are a plus but leaning more towards a technical and developmental role. Stretch goals are to progress towards an IT architectural position for Client.
Expectations will be to perform at a level that can lead others in development practices and specific configurations that Client requires.
Job Summary:
Position Purpose:
Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 7 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.
