The Impact you will have in this role:

The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain DTCC's Opentext PPM implementation using its configuration capabilities.
• Work with the development team to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
• Create custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and other PPM configurations to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Support creation and execution of test cases.
• Document process using both narrative and diagram artifacts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PPM -related issues.
• Mentor other PPM developers /team members .
• Stay up to date with PPM Upgrades and new features.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 -years' experience as a Opentext PPM developer creating and maintaining PPM configurations, automation of complex workflows as well as integrations .
• Minimum 12 -years' experience in JavaScript and programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL (Stored procedures, triggers, function, tuning, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of PPM with the focus on all aspects of the PPM configuration including Webservices .
• Experience and Knowledge developing PPM Web Services implementation and Integration with Third Partly tools .
• Proficiency in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle including project planning, analysis, design, development, and unit-testing.
• Familiarity with different software development methodologies and philosophies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Platform: AWS, Linux (servers); Windows (work environment).

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
