Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Solution Lead GL Lead to join our ERP transformation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud Financials with a primary focus on General Ledger (GL) and associated submodules. The candidate will play a key role in working with stakeholders, driving solution design, managing deliverables, and ensuring successful implementation aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) and related financial modules.
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into functional solutions.
  • Design and configure Oracle Cloud GL to meet customer needs including multi-ledger, multi-currency, chart of accounts, allocations, consolidation, reporting, and integration requirements.
  • Drive the chart of accounts (CoA) design and harmonization across the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct CRP, SIT, UAT, and end-user training.
  • Ensure integration between GL and other modules such as AP, AR, FA, CM, and Procurement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for data migration, integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs), and reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS).
  • Identify risks and issues early and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud GL, providing best practices and guidance.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with at least 2+ full-cycle Oracle Cloud Finance implementations as a GL Lead.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules, especially GL, as well as familiarity with AP, AR, FA, and CM.
  • Expertise in chart of accounts design, intercompany, allocations, and GL reporting tools (Smart View, FRS, OTBI).
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, reconciliation, and validation for GL data.
  • Familiarity with integrations between GL and subledgers / third-party systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in global finance transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of Oracle PaaS extensions and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Background in accounting or CPA qualification is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
