Job Details

  • Location: Columbia, South Carolina
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Fully On-Site for 40 hours per week - M-F, 8 am-5 pm)
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Candidate Requirement: Must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Management: Build, configure, and manage desktops, laptops, and tablets using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the successful storage of the BitLocker encryption key in Active Directory and InTune during the build process.
  • Deployment & Setup: Assist with the physical deployment and setup of endpoints, monitors, printers, scanners, and docking stations for end-users.
  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported by departmental personnel (desktops, laptops, printers, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows OS).
  • Asset Management: Ensure all tracked assets are accurately documented in the designated IT Services asset management system.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, coordinate vendor support for repairs, and assist with the removal and disposal of obsolete equipment.
  • Physical Requirement: Must be comfortable moving and lifting IT equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Required Education: High School diploma. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for required work experience.
  • Interview Process: 2 Rounds The first round will be virtual (video required), and the second round will be onsite.
