  •  Candidate can work 100% remote from the U.S.
  • If located in Texas - (which is preferred)-onsite team meetings and trainings as needed.  It is expected that this individual will be onsite in Austin & Taylor Texas a minimum of 1 day per week or more based on business needs
  • Starting range $38+/hr, DOE

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Technical Trainer specializing in SharePoint Online and Office 365 services to join our team. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective on-demand and live training courses tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your expertise in SharePoint Online and other Office 365 services, including Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, and Teams, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality training programs that empower users to maximize the potential of these platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, documentation, videos, and interactive tutorials, covering SharePoint Online and various Office 365 services.
  • Design and deliver engaging on-demand training courses via online platforms, ensuring content is accessible and user-friendly.
  • Conduct live training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate users on SharePoint Online and Office 365 functionalities, best practices, and tips.
  • Customize training programs to address specific client requirements, industry standards, and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and technical teams to ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest platform updates and features.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on insights gathered.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in SharePoint Online and Office 365, integrating relevant insights into training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Technical Trainer or similar role, specializing in SharePoint Online and Office 365 training.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and capabilities, as well as proficiency in other Office 365 services such as Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery, with a focus on adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating multimedia training materials using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Camtasia, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and online training platforms is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or SharePoint certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
