Job Title: Technical Program Manager (Contract)

Location: Wagner East - Dearborn, MI (Onsite Monday-Thursday)

Duration: 1+ Year Contract

$70-80/HR
About the Role

Our client is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our MuleSoft team, the largest integration team within the organization (15-17 members). This role will backfill a critical position and requires a strong technical background combined with leadership capabilities to guide and manage the team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management:
    • Manage features and user stories within Jira, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
    • Maintain team performance and provide guidance to ensure smooth execution of technical tasks.
    • Assign user stories based on team members' skillsets and monitor progress.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Understand and manage technical aspects of projects, including MuleSoft ESB, Cloud Run, and related integrations.
    • Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure best practices.
    • Familiarity with tools such as SonarQube, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of Technical Program Management experience.
    • Background in software engineering with strong technical understanding.
  • Technical Skills:
    • MuleSoft ESB and Cloud Run expertise.
    • Proficiency in Jira and GitHub Actions.
    • Good to have: Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Salesforce (Sales & Data Cloud) experience.
  • Leadership Qualities:
    • Ability to lead and guide a team of 15-17 members.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
