Job title: Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Location: San Jose, CA or New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: Full time

Role Overview

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will serve as the operational and technical leader responsible for ensuring predictable, safe, and successful delivery of Client's multi-agent AI solutions across complex enterprise environments.

This role goes beyond traditional program management—requiring strong technical depth, architectural understanding, and the ability to work seamlessly with both customer engineering teams and Client's AI, Data, and Engineering teams. The TPM will lead cross-functional delivery pods (Forward-Deployed Engineers, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects) to execute modernization programs across ERP and connected enterprise systems.

Candidates must have prior experience delivering ML/AI programs or leading enterprise systems modernization initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of multi-agent AI modernization programs across ERP, CRM, and connected enterprise systems.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery pods to drive technical execution and customer outcomes.
  • Participate in deep technical discussions related to data quality, integrations, governance, and system landscapes.
  • Translate complex and ambiguous enterprise requirements into clear technical scopes, milestones, dependencies, and risk frameworks.

2. Technical Communication & Cross-System Alignment

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customer engineering teams and Client's internal AI/Product/Engineering teams.
  • Communicate architecture decisions, technical constraints, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate technical discovery workshops and ensure alignment across systems and teams.

3. Execution Management & Process Optimization

  • Drive Agile processes (Jira) to ensure structured and predictable delivery execution.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks proactively.
  • Implement and refine best practices for scaling multi-agent AI delivery.
  • Track execution KPIs, delivery velocity, quality metrics, and program health.

4. Enterprise-Grade Governance & Deployment

  • Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise standards for security, compliance, auditability, and change governance.
  • Oversee technical integration requirements across systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, and others.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture decisions, runbooks, test plans, integration specs, and release documentation.

5. Customer Engagement, Escalation, & Problem Solving

  • Serve as the primary technical operations contact during onboarding, implementation, and expansion phases.
  • Manage customer escalations with clear communication and coordinated engineering responses.
  • Partner with customer IT and transformation teams to remove blockers and ensure alignment.

6. Startup Mindset & Ownership

  • Operate effectively in a high-velocity, high-ambiguity environment.
  • Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to evolving customer needs.
  • Travel for customer workshops, solution design, and program oversight.

 

Technical & Domain Skills

  • Technical Communication & Architecture
  • Ability to understand, explain, and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong comfort discussing API limits, system constraints, data models, error handling, and integration patterns.
  • Enterprise Systems Expertise
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRM/Enterprise platforms including SAP ECC/S/4HANA, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, MuleSoft, Oracle, etc.
  • Familiarity with master data harmonization, code remediation, process orchestration, and modernization.

 

AI / ML & Automation

  • Experience delivering ML programs or collaborating with ML/AI engineering teams.
  • Understanding of LLMs, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise automation frameworks.
  • Program & Delivery Management
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira workflows, and cross-functional delivery orchestration.
  • Experience managing large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering program delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong technical literacy with experience in architecture, data, or system integration topics.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Machine Learning programs or large-scale Enterprise Systems modernizations.
  • Background in ERP transformation (SAP preferred), data quality initiatives, or system integrator environments.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups.
  • Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe.
  • Experience with LLM/agent-based systems or enterprise automation.
