Responsibilities

We're currently seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator for our National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit. This role is vital in supporting the SITE III JIOC contract, focusing on the orchestration, sustainment, and advancement of a suite of applications critical for Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations. These applications are crucial for intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers across Combatant Commands, ensuring the seamless collection, correlation, and dissemination of Joint Intelligence Operations (JIOC) data.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide system configuration, server administration, and sustainment of a Global Command & Control System - Integrated Imagery & Intelligence (GCCS-I3) v6.x or newer server enclave consisting of approximately 30 virtual servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/8
  • Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system configuration, software, and networking issues
  • Configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware
  • Perform system backups and recovery
  • Conduct server builds
  • Established complex operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer systems related to customer Global Command and Control Systems
  • Documents, analyzes and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

Required Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in an area applicable to the position with 8 years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Active (currently in use) TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or ability to successfully pass a polygraph
  • A minimum 3 years of experience with systems administration, including Linux or CentOS
  • Experience in system configuration, server administration, and sustainment of a Global Command & Control System - Integrated Imagery & Intelligence (GCCS-I3) v6.x or newer server enclave.
  • Experience and ability to maintain cyber security compliance and install necessary PMO provided system patches.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Group
  • Experience with ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) compliance remediation or experience with equivalent security requirements and tools
  • DoD 8570 Compliant holding current IAT level II baseline certification (Security+ CE, GICSP, SSCP, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:
  • Current Red Hat System Administrator (RHSA) certification
  • VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Graduate of DISA's GCCS-J 6.x Advanced System Administration Course
  • Experience with GCCS-J Agile Client (AGCLT) v6.x or newer software, COP, and I3
  • Familiarity with RMF (Risk Management Framework)
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
