The Position

Peacock is seeking a strategic and analytical marketer to help build and foster the long-term health of its brand. The Manager, Brand Development will work closely with the Vice President, Brand Development to connect Peacock's business objectives with brand marketing strategies. In this role, you will help set and execute the ongoing vision for Peacock's brand; grounding work in data and insights, the Manager, Brand Development will identify the most effective ways to cultivate audience affinity and engagement.

Critical to the success of this role is a high aptitude for aligning high-level objectives into tangible business KPIs and a passion for developing new strategic frameworks. This person should be a growth-oriented individual with a desire to work at the intersection of business strategy and creative expression. The Manager, Brand Development will champion the Peacock brand across the organization, so experience creating cross-functional connections will be valuable.

The Person

You are a strategic thinker with an aptitude for understanding business analytics and consumer insights as well as the actions that most meaningfully impact their performance. You are analytical and committed to grounding strategy in data. You are thoughtful and organized, with a sharp attention to detail. You are comfortable building new things from scratch, unafraid to turn a blank slide and an insight into a comprehensive strategy. You have a passion for respectfully challenging the status quo and championing pioneering brands. You are open-minded and adaptable, operating with collaborators from a place of positivity and respect.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the multi-year brand calendar that allocates resources strategically in service of business goals
  • Initiate and write briefs that connect critical business objectives with marketing campaigns and cross-functional brand actions
  • Analyze audience insights to optimally allocate marketing investment across campaign types and customer segments
  • Evaluate the ongoing health of target audience segments across key brand metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Translate brand strategy for application by cross-functional stakeholders, including content, product, publicity, and partnerships
  • Build tools that inform brand-aligned decision-making


Qualifications

The Experience

  • 5+ years of brand and/or consumer marketing experience
  • Versatile communicator, comfortable conversing with stakeholders across disciplines - from creative teams to finance teams
  • Analytical individual, with a high degree of comfort utilizing data and financials to support their day-to-day work
  • Strong storyteller with demonstrated writing and presentations skills, who brings strategies to life in compelling, easily understood ways
  • Excellent collaborator, who builds relationships with ease and rallies people around a common vision
  • A fast learner with a high capacity, able to track and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works quickly, nimbly, humbly - comfortable leaving ego at the door in service of what's best for the business
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, MBA or master's degree a plus
  • Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 (bonus eligible)
