The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student - Software Engineer for Deere & Company located in Champaign, IL, you will:
  • Collaborate with team of software engineers to build full-stack applications for critical business solutions
  • Design, build, and release production software using agile methodologie

This position is not available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

  • Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, ReactJS, NodeJS
  • Experience with Java SpringBoot
  • Field: CS, CompE, Data, Related
  • Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
  • Ability to commute to Champaign, IL on a daily basis year round
  • Pursuing a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science (Others may apply)

What Makes You Standout

  • Experience writing and/or consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with source code management, preferably GitHub
  • Experience with cloud hosting, preferably in AWS

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
