Large Financial Services client in the Cincinnati metro area.
On-site 50%/Remote 50% in Covington, KY

Responsibilities:
The Role
The Test Automation Engineer should be self-driven and have the ability to work in a distributed team by developing complex test automation scripts using programming in Java and Software tools. Ideal candidate should Develop Test Automation frameworks for large scale projects from an end to end perspective including front end, middle tier services and back end data providers. The candidate will be responsible for creation, implementation and execution of automated tests. This individual is responsible for crafting and developing automated test cases and in-house software utilities as part of a dynamic scrum team.
The Team
The ideal candidate is a focused professional with experience in quality software engineering aspects of application delivery and building automated test cases. A successful Test Automation Engineer will be required to work closely with Developers, QA Analyst and Architects in an Agile Scrum development environment, embedded in the scrum process as a team member, developing acceptance test cases and tests. Works well in an agile environment across global locations. This role will support our client's next generation workflow application.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Minimum of 5 years in Software Quality Engineering roles
Experience in developing software test code using Java/J2EE, Hibernate, JUnit, Spring Frameworks, Web Services, Oracle, SQL, etc.
Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD principles and tools
Coding focused individual while maintaining importance on end to end integrations
Experience developing automation testing suites and understand their interactions across microservices, BPMN and other architectures
Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress, JEST, Cucumber, Selenium, Karate, JUnit)
Hands-on experience in ATDD/TDD methodologies.
Experience working in an Agile team environment and possess positive relationship building, interpersonal and influencing skills
Desire and willingness to learning and strive for continuous improvement
Ability to work in a fast paced, globally dispersed, agile environment
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, other technical subject area, or equivalent experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
