Job Overview

A leading technology services provider is seeking an experienced Voice/Data Technician to support nationwide deployments of VoIP equipment, specifically within the RingCentral ecosystem. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network and voice systems across multiple client sites. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, technically proficient, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain voice and data equipment at customer locations.
  • Deploy and support RingCentral VoIP systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with routers, switches, and IP phones.
  • Maintain and update databases related to VoIP services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure network integrity and performance.
  • Provide on-site support to end users and proactively address potential outages.
  • Assist in testing new products and maintaining existing infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain the corporate IP phone network.

Top Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience installing and configuring routers, switches, and VoIP phones.
    • Ability to troubleshoot preconfigured equipment.
    • Knowledge of VLANs, access ports, trunk ports, and IP address configuration.

    • Ability to reconfigure or adjust equipment as needed in diverse environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
