Job Details

Systems / Azure Cloud Administrator - Atlanta, GA

Enterprise oil services organization seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Server \Azure Systems Administrator to join dynamic IT team. This will be a mostly remote but will be required to be onsite in the Buckhead area 1 day per week.

You will play a crucial role in designing, configuration, implementing, optimizing and maintaining On-Prem Windows Server and Azure Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Microsoft Operating System and Azure, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong background in Virtualized Infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments on-prem and in an Azure cloud platform.

Manage and administer Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and security permissions.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Implement and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Entra ID, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Security, Azure Identity, Azure MFA/SSO/SAML/RBAC/CAP

Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows Server environments.

Manage Windows Server environments on a VMware Platform.

Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all aspects of system administration.

Automate routine tasks and processes using PowerShell or other scripting languages.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices related to Windows Server and Azure cloud services.

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users as needed.

Manage and support Microsoft Exchange in a Hybrid Environment & work "on-call" schedule as needed

Required: Ideal candidate has 5+ years experience with a solid mix of the following skills:

Windows Server Infrastructure,
Active Directory,
Entra ID,
VMware,
Azure Enterprise Applications / App Registrations (SAML, SSO),
Conditional Access, MFA, Certificates, Secrets, Key Vault,
Managing and troubleshooting Office365 Applications,
PowerShell scripting,
Intune,
Microsoft Exchange,
project management experience,
familiarity with Agile in an enterprise environment
