Job Title: Wi-Fi Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Wi-Fi Architect to lead the design, development, and testing of Wi-Fi systems for Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) products. The role involves performance optimization, lab simulations, and the creation of innovative testing and automation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Wi-Fi architecture and solutions on CPE products
- Optimize Wi-Fi radio and antenna configurations to enhance performance
- Build test environments simulating real-world Wi-Fi conditions
- Analyze traffic models and research industry trends
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define technical requirements
- Identify and resolve Wi-Fi defects in lab and field environments
- Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced DevOps setup
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience with WLAN protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
- Strong knowledge of WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X security protocols
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi mesh/extenders/steering: 802.11k/v/r
- Experience working with industry standards: IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF
- Advanced skills in Wi-Fi test automation and performance tuning
- Excellent leadership and cross-team collaboration abilities
