Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Workday Lead to oversee the end-to-end data conversion and integration efforts for our Workday implementation. This role requires deep expertise in Workday data migration, ETL processes, and legacy systems such as PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, and Payroll. The ideal candidate will lead technical workstreams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full data conversion lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-go-live validation.
• Develop and manage detailed data migration plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Oversee ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems (PeopleSoft) into Workday.
• Define and implement data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.
• Manage internal and external resources within the data migration and integration workstreams.
• Coordinate and conduct data validation, parallel testing, and cutover activities.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.
• Support Workday integrations using tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of Workday business processes and reporting frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in data migration and system integration, with Workday data conversion projects.
• Expertise in ETL tools and methodologies: Workday EIB, Workday Studio, Talend, Informatica, SQL, Alteryx, etc.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft and Workday modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll).
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and reconciliation practices.
• Proven leadership and project management skills in enterprise-scale implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Workday and/or PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience with Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, and Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data migration and secure data handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in higher education or public sector environments.
• Knowledge of Agile project methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
