Job Title: Senior Salesforce Technical Lead
Duration: 6 Months (Tentative)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Position Summary:
A public sector organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to join their Office for Refugees & Immigrants application development team. This is a critical opportunity to contribute to a highly visible modernization initiative focused on building a Salesforce-based CRM Case Management System to support immigrant services.
The selected candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and vendors to architect and implement Salesforce solutions that align with complex business requirements and policy needs. The role requires hands-on Salesforce development expertise and a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define application needs and ensure strategic alignment with technical solutions.
Lead discovery workshops to define business goals and challenges.
Create application models and prototypes, incorporating user feedback for refinement.
Write and maintain high-quality Salesforce code and scripts, including updates and deployments.
Mentor Salesforce developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
Conduct diagnostic testing, troubleshoot issues, and manage application debugging.
Oversee application integration, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and availability of the application architecture.
Conduct in-depth research into organizational Salesforce usage and provide solution roadmaps.
Act as release manager, ensuring appropriate deployment of configuration and code changes across environments.
Required Skills at Hire:
Advanced/expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud / PSS Solutions, MuleSoft, OmniStudio, API development/integration, and Salesforce dashboards and reporting.
Expertise in data mapping and migration from legacy systems to Salesforce.
Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model and scalable architectural design.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and system maintenance.
Proven experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Familiarity with large-scale immigrant information systems is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce System Administration.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively across project teams.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Salesforce System Administrator Advanced Certification highly preferred.
PMP, IIBA, and/or ABAC certifications are a plus.
