Responsibilities
As a Senior Electronics Engineer (TE) with MTSI you will support of a government organization essential to U.S. national security. In this position you will apply knowledge and expertise in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced aircraft systems through rigorous testing and evaluation processes.
Key Responsibilities: Tasks and responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to:
Exhibit and apply knowledge and experience in DoD engineering principles, criteria, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles
Assesses impacts of EW systems design and implementation on Air Force Sustainment and Intelligence infrastructure
Reviews program verification activities and product designs for EW systems criteria compliance and assesses airworthiness certification and system safety
Assesses interfaces and operating environments to evaluate effectiveness, safety, suitability, and durability
Applies analytical technical knowledge to analysis of platform EW requirements
Analyzes design and test data to support informed program and technical decision making for EW sensors and systems at all levels of acquisition
Executes RF chain analysis for EW RF system and subsystem components to identify design strengths and limitations
Understands RCS impacts to EW and apply those concepts to EW assessments
Assist in the development, coordination, and updates on user requirements on contract and technical documents
Provides technical management and proper application of systems engineering processes to support technology and systems development
Defines the maturation of technology development and technical risk reduction efforts
Develops, evaluates and manages requirements, functional and physical architectures, and interfaces
Assists in the management of technical issues that arise as a result of the integration processes using a systems approach
Employ procedures, methods, and tools for measuring technical progress and assesses the effectiveness of plans and solutions
Plans for and manages integration of developmental and fielded systems into platform electrical, mechanical, and avionics systems
Qualifications
Required:
5-8 years experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD
Bomber, fighter, or ISR platform experience

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required
Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution required

Eligibility for access to SAP Information
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Worked in a Special Access Programs or TS/SCI environment for 3 of the last 10 years (highly desired)
