Location: Fully Remote

- Why is the role open: they don’t think they can hire someone FTE with the compensation they have for the role
- They are changing their organization to be work stream oriented – Lead to Order, procure pay, ect…
- Right now, that was done based on one plant not across plants
- This will be part of IT
- Lead to Order workstream is the focus for this role – this is NOT quote to cash – this is only from lead to until it becomes an order, so quoting and estimating (ordering and shipping are under a different operations team)
- They use to buy various software packages, but never looked at how they all would work together and integrate
- APEX – project name internally
- (overview slide is the ecosystem they are moving to ideally)
- They have homegrown old system for quoting now and they bought paperlessParts as their new estimating tool for their 5 plants
- (see slide)
- UiPath as automation tool and Snaplogic is their iPasS tool
- This person will help with functional and tech specs, configure software packages.
Ideally want someone with experience in SAP or Oracle since few will have paperlessParts
They have 7 ERPs today and will move to 1 down the road and might be one of these 2
(RTR, MMPP, P2P modules of SAP, Fusion manufacturing for Oracle would be experience this person should/could have)
They are in the early planning stages of implementing a singular ERP- Leaning SAP
Day to Day:
- Help them with the implementation, the have PM, but no one technical to oversee this as SME
- Their will be learning curve and they know that
- Help them understand what comes next in the process for them
- They would have to understand the master data need for these tools, they have someone doing MDM right now they will work with on that
- They need to have good communication skills and be able to mentor others
- Needs to be comfortable with change and helping the team through that
- This Archt. is a BA/Systems Analyst with more technical expertise is how they see this role
- This is the go-to person driving these milestones for project in the organization

- Develop and lead the forward-looking strategy and roadmap for the Lead to Order Value Stream, ensuring alignment with business goals, technology trends, and operational efficiency initiatives and scalability.
- Lead the technical implementation of Lead to Order Platforms (CRM, Estimating, Quoting, Pricing).
- Oversee the architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of business-critical applications.
- Partner with department leaders to understand business needs and align application solutions accordingly.
- Design, implement, and maintain MEC information systems and programs to enhance business effectiveness, solve problems, and create new opportunities to achieve business goals.
- Prepare systems and program specifications, test criteria, project control, and management reporting.
- Collaborate with business team management and end users to understand system requirements and solutions.
- Partner within IT to ensure alignment (e.g., security, data, project management, infrastructure, operations, etc.)
Job Skills Requirements
- Strong understanding of API design, integration platforms, automation platforms and algorithms.
- Familiarity with master data management, and data governance concepts.
- Proficiency in creating solution diagrams and architectural documentation.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts to business leaders.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience engaging teams in a collaborative, distributed environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field.
Experience Requirements
- Ten years of experience in IT and Enterprise Applications.
- Five years of experience in system design, architecture development, system integration or technical leadership roles.
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Lead to Order, Quote to Cash, or Order Management disciplines.
