Corporate Specs & Standards Technician

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Corporate Specs & Standards Technician

for a contract position in Mason, OH. The opportunity will be seven months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for publishing documents and other specification documents according to established processes and applicable electronic publishing standards. The role requires performing document quality control checks, promptly communicating irregularities in documents, and coordinating issue resolution.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Provide day-to-day department support activities as necessary to aid the completion of documents.
  • Support Packaging Engineers in various systems, particularly specifications and standards.
  • Create and modify specifications and standards as directed or needed.
  • Track changes and develop a system for department reporting.
  • Support the conversion of documents into new products and Packaging Art Work Change Management (ePADEx system).
  • Provide SAP support.
  • Develop an understanding and maintain knowledge of appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulations, policies, and regulatory guidance documents.
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Originator credentials in the Enovia environment with training and experience in originating packaging specifications in the Enovia Digital System.
  • At least 1 year of experience in originating packaging specifications; a 4-year degree is not required.
  • Familiarity with daily work systems and lab testing, including SMART clearances, ILST digitization, label/artwork, and packaging lab work as needed.
  • Strong skills in Office Software such as Word, Excel, TOPS, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of general office practices, including typing documents quickly in an acceptable business style using a computer.
  • Ability to perform various word processing functions, such as creating, formatting, revising, retrieving, and storing documents.
  • Math and typing aptitude, along with good grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with good communication and organization skills.
  • Capability to manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent projects and adapt to the work.
  • Ability to liaise with Art, SGS, Regulatory, QA, and MPD resources assigned to the same project.
