5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud (Fusion) ERP implementation experience in a functional role.

Module Expertise

Deep, hands-on functional expertise in the Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets (FA) module.

K-12/Public Sector

Proven experience leading at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud FA implementations specifically within the Public Sector, preferably K-12 or Higher Education.

Project Management

Demonstrated ability to drive project deliverables, meet deadlines, and successfully manage all phases of a Cloud implementation lifecycle.

Integration Knowledge

Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Oracle Cloud FA integrations with GL, AP, and Projects/PPM.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and influence senior financial stakeholders.

Technical Acumen

Ability to utilize SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting issues within the Oracle Cloud environment.

We are seeking an immediate-start, senior-level Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets SME to lead the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion FA module. This role demands deep functional expertise in the complete asset lifecycle and a minimum of 5 years in Oracle Cloud implementation. A critical requirement is proven, hands-on experience leading at least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets implementations within the Public Sector, specifically K-12 (Primary/Secondary Education). You will act as the key functional consultant, translating complex public sector and accounting requirements into best-in-class Oracle Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  1. Implementation, Design & Strategy
  • Fixed Assets Lifecycle: Serve as the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Fixed Assets module.
  • Public Sector Focus: Apply expert knowledge of public sector accounting and reporting standards to the design and configuration of the FA module (e.g., funding sources, regulatory reporting).
  • System Configuration: Configure and maintain all critical FA components, including Asset Books, Asset Categories, Depreciation Methods, Calendar Setups, and Tax Books, ensuring compliance with client-specific financial policies.
  • Integration Management: Ensure seamless and accurate integration between Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets and related Oracle Cloud modules, particularly General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Projects/PPM.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to guide public sector stakeholders through system enhancements and full-cycle implementations.
  1. Optimization, Support & Governance
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing asset management processes and recommend system and procedural enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting compliance in a K-12 environment.
  • Data Integrity: Oversee data migration, conversion, and reconciliation activities for fixed assets, specializing in the transfer of legacy public sector asset data to Oracle Cloud.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide expert Level 3 functional support, troubleshooting complex system issues related to depreciation, mass additions, retirements, and month/year-end close activities.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, process flows, and training materials, ensuring high-quality knowledge transfer to client teams.
  • Technical Acumen: Collaborate with technical teams on reports, conversions, and interfaces, leveraging an understanding of underlying Oracle Cloud data structures.
